Fitness became a pretty permanent part of my life in my early twenties, and the gym quickly felt like a second home. It started with weights, then squash (where I proudly beat the guy who almost beat the Ontario squash champ in the ‘80s—so, by proxy, I’m practically a legend). Tae Kwon Do came next, where I earned my red belt with a black stripe before life, and the cost, took me in a different direction.
But one thing never changed: the gym. It wasn’t just a place to train; it was where I kept my mind and body strong. No matter what life threw at me, I could always count on walking out feeling better than when I walked in.
That passion led me to coaching HIIT classes. I jumped at the chance to help others experience the same energy, confidence, and joy that fitness gave me. Six years later, I’m still at it and loving every second.
Now at 180 Fitness, I’m here to help push, motivate, and maybe even crack a joke or two between sets. Because training should be tough, but it should also be fun. See you in class!
