I would drink multiple bottles of Pepsi a day. I would struggle going up the stairs. I would cry daily because of all of the stress due to the divorce and Covid restrictions. I was seeing a therapist to help with everything but I was still in this low place and losing the last of my self esteem. I knew I had to change but I did not know how. So I turned to the experts and got the much needed help. It wasn’t easy at first… I went through caffeine and sugar withdrawal, my body nearly passed out the first day, and I felt like giving up that first day. What changed my mind and my attitude was Adrian sitting on the ground with me while my body was in shock. He told me I was going to be okay and that this was normal for a first workout. He didn’t get mad at me and tell me to suck it up. He had my back right from the start. Sure enough, week after week I lost weight, I ate properly, my energy level sky rocketed, and most of all I started getting my confidence back. It has been seven months now and I am down 40 pounds. But that is not the biggest accomplishment of my journey at 180 Fitness. My biggest accomplishment is how much more happy and positive I am now. You will always find me cheering on everyone at the gym and celebrating victories. Also on the food side, my body has healed itself. I no longer suffer from extreme upset stomach from poor eating habits. On the physical side, I can keep up with my two active children and since joining the gym, we have zip lined, tree climbed, ran 5km race, done an obstacle course, skated and even worn a bikini at Calypso. I cherish these opportunities with my kids and I look forward to them now since I have an abundance of energy. To sum it up, 180 Fitness has helped me more than they will ever know and I strongly encourage you to reach out to Adrian. You only have weight to lose but you have so many new experiences to gain. 180 has consistently delivered high quality training during the pandemic. It has been an essential part of my day because they not only focus on transforming your body, but on your mindset. This gym has supportive staff and members. It is a place where acceptance and encouragement is a given whether it be in-house or online. Rest assured if you commit, they commit. I am only 1 week into the Biggest Loser Ottawa program and I cannot get over how different this place is than every other place I have ever worked out or tried to lose weight with. I have tried Herbalife type meal replacement plans to deal with my food addiction, tried consultations with nutritionists, personal trainers, working out 5 days/week doing mad amounts of cardio, jogging, killing my joints and although I do end up losing, I always gained it back.
I haven't even gotten on the scale for my first weigh in yet and can just tell I will be leaving this program a completely different person. Adrian's holistic approach to obesity is surreal. He aims at transforming the soul which ends ultimately in a change in our bad behaviors that got us in our current state. The workouts are adaptable to my weight and fitness, the meal plans are so well written out there's no way of getting off track if you follow them. If you follow the details perfectly while you work on your inner voice, when the program runs out of instructions, you'll be able to keep it up I'm sure.
Already after only 1 week since our kick off meeting, I can definitely tell you that I AM A COMPLETELY CHANGED PERSON! Thanks Adrian for creating this gem of a program 🙂 I completed the 21 day challenge with 180ofitness and what an amazing challenge it was. 21 days of support with several live streamed workouts per day to choose from, a meal plan that was the key to weight loss, and a personal coach to keep the challenge team motivated and on track. The added bonus was meal preps live streamed from Chex Deslauriers and mindsets from Adrian Delorey. A great program that brought my lifestyle back on track. Overnight, the business quickly adapted to the Covid situation and has been offering online workouts, nutrition information as well as great support when needed. It’s a great gym and the workouts are phenomenal. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience at this gym. I highly recommend it! After trying to lose weight for the last year with no results, I decided to sign up for a six week challenge. During that short time period, not only did I experience noticeable changes in body composition, but my whole way of looking at healthy eating and fitness shifted. The coaches at 180 Fitness are incredible. They challenge you, push you, motivate you and are always there to answer questions. The workouts are amazing and as crazy as it sounds, you will never do the same workout twice. I love this gym it's the best in Ottawa I have to say I was sceptical about joining 180 fitness. I’m happy I joined because I am at a weight I haven’t been at for the last 22 years. The instructor are awesome. The training sessions are always different and I look forward to booking my classes for upcoming weeks. The support from the other clients is amazing. Everyone is one big happy family all working towards the same goal. Look better feel better I haven’t had this much fun working out in a long time. Awesome trainers. Fantastic atmosphere. Truly feels like a family! Great just great This is an amazing and supportive gym atmosphere. There are different programs to fit everyone's goals. I'm so glad I found a place that works for me. Amazing gym! Great classes and amazing coaches! I always feel well worked by the time I leave the gym 🙂 I have only been training at 180 Fitness for less than 2 weeks and I already feel a major difference in my clothing. The trainers are all excellent, so good at what they do! I want to take a minute to extend my full gratitude to all the trainers I’ve encountered at 180 fitness in the past month. I've worked out with Adrian on multiple occasions and he has always challenged me to push myself. He brings the energy to every workout and delivers results. I can't imagine a trainer out there who cares for his community more than Adrian. His programs change lives. Adrian has a vision to bring health and wellness to Ottawa and it is working! I like it tank you for showing me how to take care of my life To be honest, I was extremely skeptical about signing up for a program. I first heard of these programs by my friend as his wife had gone through one of the programs with great results. I was tired of feeling exhausted and sluggish throughout the day, I was depressed and would turn to food. What did I have to lose trying something new? Adrian and all of the trainers always have a smile on their face and they are there if you need any modification or if you are doing something incorrect. People in the various programs are extremely friendly and it is such a positive atmosphere. Thank you Adrian Delorey and 180 Fitness! I joined 180 Fitness and the Biggest Loser Program in Spring 2015 and lost 44 pounds in 3 months! That's amazing results by any standard - but the real testimony is that 2 years later, I have kept the weight off, am still going to the gym regularly and (mostly!) following a much healthier lifestyle than I had been. If you want lasting results this is the place to be - besides, this isn't your typical impersonal gym - here the friendly trainers make the effort to know your name and your goals and keep you motivated. You will also be surrounded by people just like you - real, positive, and fun - I've made some great friends here and so will you! Great facility and cool staff!!
